Our Process: From Plan Review to Production & Delivery

At St. Lawrence Structures St‑Laurent Inc., our process is built around accuracy, clarity, and reliable project support. Whether you’re a builder, contractor, or homeowner, we follow a structured workflow that ensures your engineered components are designed, reviewed, and produced with precision. From the moment you submit your plans to the day your materials arrive on-site, every step is handled by our experienced team.
All communication and documentation are available in English and French, and the fastest way to begin is by contacting us through our online estimate form. Our process helps keep your project organized, code‑compliant, and ready for installation.
Our Process
1. Submit Your Plans
Every project begins with a review of your architectural drawings. You can send us your plans via email. This ensures our team has accurate information from the start.
2. Receive an Accurate, Engineered Estimate
We prepare a precise estimate that outlines the trusses, joists, and components required for your build. Accuracy at this stage helps you plan your project with confidence.
3. Complete All Drawings for Building Permit
Once the estimate is approved, we produce the engineered drawings and layouts needed for your building permit, including floor and roof system documentation.
4. Produce Detailed Construction Drawings
After the permit stage, we create the full set of construction drawings your contractor or framing crew will use onsite. These documents guide correct installation of all supplied components.
5. Approve the Final Design
We review the completed design package with you. Once approved, we move forward with production, ensuring every detail aligns with your project requirements.
6. Fabrication of Trusses & Components
We manufacture your trusses, joists, beams, and engineered components in our facility. This allows us to maintain strict quality control and fabrication accuracy.
7. Packaging & Preparation for Delivery
All components are packaged in organized bundles and prepared for transport, helping protect materials and simplify unloading on site.
8. Delivered Directly to Your Site
Your order is delivered to your project location using our truck and roll‑off trailer. Delivery completes our service; installation is handled by your building team.
