About Our Family-owned Company
Founded in 1989, St. Lawrence Structures St‑Laurent Inc. began when Rolland Parthenais and the Émard family formed a partnership to manufacture roof trusses in Cornwall. In 1994, Rolland’s son Yves joined after completing a Civil Engineering degree at the University of Ottawa, becoming the company’s engineer.
As the business grew, Lynda Parthenais joined in 2009 after completing her Business Administration certificate from York University, taking on the role of accountant and controller. In 2014, Yves and Lynda purchased Rolland’s shares, becoming co‑owners after Rolland’s 25 years of leadership.
In 2025, the next generation officially joined the company:
